常見的英文單字 “When, While, As” 三者有何差別?

translation

As I was getting off the bus I saw Joe driving a Porsche.

They marched in protest of the arrest, chanting ‘God is love’ as they went along.

As I sat reading the paper, the door burst open.

As we discussed what public statement the Feb should make, one of them suggested, “Maybe we’re overreacting. Why not wait a few days and see what happens!”
– The Age of Turbulence by Alan Greenspan

translation

The telephone rang just when (= just as) I was about to leave. I decided not to answer it.

As I opened my eyes I heard a strange voice.

** heat up = if a situation heats up, it becomes dangerous or full of problems

– The Age of Turbulence by Alan Greenspan

As baby-boomers seek simplicity in smaller, uncluttered spaces, and young up-and-comers seek affordable living in minimalist condos and lofts, small spaces have become the new trend in homes.

As 2009 is quickly approaching, there’s one thing that I see as becoming critical to our businesses, and that one thing is to “become more transparent” with what we’re doing in our online businesses. As the Internet grows and develops, one thing is becoming evident. We cannot ignore the fact that social media is taking over the internet.
