版主常聽人說:結果不重要,過程才重要。最近偶然看見很類似的英文說法 (說不定中文原本就是從英文翻譯過來的),貼文如下供網友參考:

It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters in the end. – by Ernest Miller Hemingway (海明威)

海明威在這句話中玩弄 “end” 與 “journey” 這兩個字。

* end – 目標
* journey –  (v) 行走;遊歷
* journey –  (n) 旅程 (his great journey through life  他浪漫的人生旅程)
* in the end – 最終

◎ Yesterday is experience, tomorrow is hope, and today is getting from one to the other.

◎ If you want God’s fire to burn brightly in your heart, take out yesterday’s ashes.

The present is what slips by us while we’re pondering the past and worrying about the future.

◎ If we fill our hours with regrets of yesterday and with the worries of tomorrow, we have no today in which to be thankful.

◎ Dwell not on the past.  Use it to illustrate a point, then leave it behind.  Nothing really matters except what you do now in this instant of time.  From this moment onwards you can be an entirely different person, filled with love and understanding, ready with an outstretched hand, uplifted and positive in every thought and deed. – Eileen Caddy
