** fire drill - 這是常用說法。版主以前在美國工作時，有一次老美進來宣佈消防演習的消息，我們部門的女同事鴨子聽雷 (其中不乏知名大學外文系畢業的學生)，完全在狀況外。會發生這種尷尬的情況，乃是華人對於 “drill” 這個單字理解不夠。
