Yesterday one of our Seattle Morning team members had a bit of a, well, I guess you could call it an episode. She apparently crossed the line. She made a spectacle of herself. She talked about things that are a bit of a no-no on morining television. And she used some terrible language.

Excuse me for interrupting.  Me and my friends over there. We had a bet. Are you the chick that totally lost her shit on the news guy?  🙂 –

版主今天要提的就是 “make a spectacle of oneself” 這個說法,意思就是「出洋相;出醜」。

make a spectacle of oneself = draw attention to oneself by behaving, dressing, etc ridiculously, esp in public.

* She made a spectacle of herself by arguing with the waiter.
